Health Advocates Network is seeking a English 9th grade teacher to work at a Facility in Baltimore, MD. This is a registry position with our company.
Pay Rate: $45 / hour
*W2
Key Responsibilities:
Teach literature, grammar, writing, and vocabulary to 9th-grade students.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
Help students improve reading comprehension, writing techniques, and analytical skills.
Assess student progress through tests, essays, and projects.
Provide feedback and support to students on their assignments.
Create a positive, respectful classroom environment that encourages learning.
Communicate regularly with parents about student progress.
Participate in school meetings, events, and professional development.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an English 9th grade teacher
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of English language arts and high school curriculum.
Ability to communicate clearly with students and parents.
Strong writing, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Experience working with high school students is a plus.
