Job Description
Staff Today, a Health Advocates Network Division, is currently seeking a Dietitians & Nutritionist to work at a facility in Buffalo, New York. These are registry positions with our company Staff Today.
Pay Rate: $40 / hour
Shift details:
- Monday - Friday 8: 30-4: 30
Duties Description:
The Temp Nutritionist will be responsible for supporting emergency food assistance program activities throughout the NYS Western Region. This position will also assist in contract procurement, fiscal management, and program review activities.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor' s or Master' s degree in food service administration, community nutrition, human nutrition, dietetics, public health, health education and/or an equitable degree from an accredited institution. Desired Experience
- Planning or conducting public health and/or nutrition education programs to assist in health promotion
- Experience using varied communication techniques – spoken, written, and web-based.
- Ability to regularly travel throughout the western region. (Travel expected to be 20% of time)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian with The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or has completed an accredited nutrition and dietetics internship program and is eligible for Registration.
- Experience working for food assistance programs such as Federally funded USDA nutrition programs, Emergency Feeding Organization, Food Bank or Food Pantry
- Experience working in a governmental setting.
- Experience providing programmatic guidance and technical assistance.
- Experience with contract procurement or fiscal management.
