Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Credentialed School Nurse to work at a Facility in Hemet, CA. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $65 / hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Cares for students who are sick or injured
- Gives medications and checks student health needs
- Performs health screenings (vision, hearing, etc.)
- Keeps student health records updated
- Talks with parents and teachers about health issues
- Makes health care plans for students with illnesses
- Teaches students about health and hygiene
- Checks that students have required immunizations
- Gives first aid and handles health emergencies
- Works with doctors and school staff to support student health
The requirements are:
- Must have Registered Nurse License in the State of California.
- Must hold a School Nurse Services Credential (SNSC) School Nurse Services Credential (SNSC).
- A valid and current CPR card
- Experience n ER, Psychiatric, MS or Clinic
- Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
