Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Certified Medication Aide to work at a facility in Lexington, OK.  These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $26 / hour

Shift:
  • 12-hour shifts (6a – 6p and 6p – 6a). For specific days/shifts it would be determined by the nurse manager for each facility.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications to patients or residents as directed
  • Monitor patients for medication side effects or reactions
  • Record medication administration and patient information
  • Assist patients with daily living activities
  • Measure and record vital signs
  • Report patient concerns or changes to nurses
  • Maintain medication supplies and storage
  • Follow safety and infection control procedures
  • Assist with patient comfort and care needs
  • Support nurses and healthcare staff


Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least one year (12 months) of previous working experience as a Certified Medication Aide
  • Must have up to date certification in the state of OK
  • CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
