Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to work at a facility in Pueblo, CO. These are registry positions with our company.

36hrs Travel Package
Weekly Gross Pay = $540
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $15
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $350 (Hotel-245 Meals-105)

Total Weekly ($350 is not taxed)= $890
Feels like per hour = $24.72
$890 div 36 hours = $24.72

Shifts Available:

  • 13 week contract, 1800-600 Thursdays - Saturdays.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • CPR card issued by the American Heart Association
  • Must have up to date certification in the state of CO
  • We would be looking at a DT class from April 28-May 1st pending cleared CDOC background.
  • Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away


Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff
  • Record patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history
  • Update and maintain all client records
  • Assist nurse in maintaining medical inventory
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients
  • Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment
