Monday through Friday: 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 12am-8am Sat & Sun: 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 12am-8am
Job Description:
Our residential group home in Maryland is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA in our group home setting, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges.
Qualifications:
Active Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
Previous experience working in a residential group home or similar setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
Administer medications and treatments as directed by the healthcare team.
Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration for residents who require assistance.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.
Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents, following all infection control protocols.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident.
