Job Description
Staff Today, a HAN Division, is currently seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to work at a correctional facility in Butner, North Carolina. These are registry positions with our company Staff Today.
Pay Rate: $18 / hour
Shift Details:
- 3 12' s and alternate weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
- Assist in the transport of patients
- Provide companionship and basic care to patients
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant
- Experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional-juvenile and/or emergency nursing practice preferred.
- Must be able to do medications passes.
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of NC
