Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to work at a facility in Rio Rancho, NM. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $27 / hour

Shifts Available:
Team 1 Schedule

Week 1: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Sat, -Nights

Week 2: Sun, Tues, Friday, Sat -Nights

Week 3: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Sat, -Nights

Week 4: Sun, Tues, Friday, Sat -Nights

Team 2 Schedule

Week 1: Sun, Tues, Friday, Sat -Nights

Week 2: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Sat, -Nights

Week 3: Sun, Tues, Friday, Sat -Nights

Week 4: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Sat, -Nights
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least one year (12 months) of previous working experience as a Certified Medical Assistant
  • Must have up to date certification in the state of NM
  • CPR card
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff
  • Record patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history
  • Update and maintain all client records
  • Assist nurse in maintaining medical inventory
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients
  • Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment
