Pay Rate: $40 / hour

Key Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning & Instruction: Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cover reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literature analysis.
Assessment: Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, tests, and class participation.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, respectful learning environment and manage student behavior.
Student Support: Provide individual or group tutoring to students who need extra help or enrichment.
Curriculum Development: Collaborate with other teachers to create and implement a cohesive curriculum.
Communication: Regularly update students and parents on progress, assignments, and any issues or concerns.
Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest teaching methods and educational trends.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Certified High school English teacher
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
State certification in Secondary English Education.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
