Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies.
Sterilize and organize surgical instruments before procedures.
Assist surgeons by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgery.
Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to support efficient operations.
Prepare and position patients for surgery according to physician instructions.
Count instruments, sponges, and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
Clean and restock the operating room following surgical cases.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
Document surgical procedures and equipment usage as required.
Qualifications:
Ensure that profiles are submitted for STs who are fully committed to working an 8-week assignment.
Must work every other weekend and holidays. Required certifications include active Certification as Surgical Technician, AHA BLS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City), and must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date.
With comprehensive experience in Robotics
Minimum Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
With a minimum of two (2) recent years of acute care setting experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city with diverse population as a ST
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
