Shift Details:

Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN
RN CVOR Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
Prepare the operating room, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies according to procedure requirements and safety standards.
Assist the surgical team during procedures, including maintaining sterile technique, monitoring patient condition, and anticipating surgical needs.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered and monitor patients for changes or complications.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and other members of the cardiovascular surgical team.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
CA RN or compact license active and on file
Minimum of one (1) year related work experience within the last 3 years.
Active BLS
Additional certifications may be required
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
