General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Provide quality patient exams that are clinically comprehensive and meet the needs of the patient.
Manage a variety of designated work assignments including routine exams and procedures on OP, IP, and ED patients.
Explain exams to patients (including family/friends when appropriate), answer questions and work to allay fears or anxiety associated with all procedures and CT equipment.
Monitor and act on radiation safety best practices including lead shielding as necessary.
Exams include but not limited to: CT (with and without contrast) chest, abdomen, pelvis, head, extremities (runoff), CT guided procedures
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
Client Client Project, Epic, Client AW Server (Reformats), OnePACS (telerad after hours)
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
1 year
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
ARRT (CT), BLS
Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
Employee may have to work alone at times, call is not required, weekends are required
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
125 bed hospital, 2 CT scanners

scrubs, closed toe shoes
