Job Description
Staff Today Inc. Is currently seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to work at a hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. These are registry positions with our company Staff Today Inc.
Pay Rate: $25 / hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff
- Administer prescribed medications to patients
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
- Assist in the transport of patients
- Provide companionship and basic care to patients
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of WV
- CNAs must have at least one year of acute psychiatric nursing experience.
