Shift Details:
Shift: M-F, 8 - 4:30pm
Occupational Therapist Duties & Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients’ functional status and implement the physician’s plan of care.
Complete patient assessments, reassessments, and objective tests.
Communicate patient observations and treatment recommendations with the interdisciplinary team.
Educate and provide direction to patients and coworkers as appropriate.
Protect patient rights and provide compassionate, empathetic care.
Maintain accurate and concise documentation of patient care and communications.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
Support the hospital’s mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures.
Complete required education and training programs.
Float to qualified departments as needed and perform other assigned duties.
Minimum Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted OR license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association
Is eligible for the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
Licensed by the State of Oregon as an Occupational Therapist.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Must have a current certification in BLS
Must show proof of auto insurance
Preferred: Registration as an Occupational Therapist with the American Occupational Therapy Association. CRASE training: If travel assignment extends beyond a 6-month period, CRASE training will be required.
Additional certifications may be required
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
