Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Mammography Tech to work at a Facility in St. Louis, MO. These are registry positions with our company.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Mammography Tech
A valid and current license issued by the state of MO
A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English
Job Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammogram exams
Position patients correctly for clear breast images
Operate mammography equipment safely
Explain procedures and provide patient comfort and support
Review images for quality before submitting to the radiologist
Follow radiation safety and infection-control procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Assist radiologists during special breast procedures (if needed)
Ensure equipment is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly
Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA guidelines
