Family Practice trained:
·Current certification or active participation in the examination process leading to certification, or having met certifying board requirements to be eligible for examination in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine or the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
OR
•Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA- accredited post-graduate training program in family practice.
If Internal Medicine trained, then:
•Current certification or active participation in the examination process leading to certification in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
OR
•Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA- accredited post-graduate training program in internal medicine.
For either training:
·Ability to manage care for adult and pediatric patients in a primary care clinic
·15-20+ average patients daily for routine and drop-in/acute care
·May include some additional time for completion of medical records, training and staff meetings
·Cerner experience preferred, but not required
·BLS, ACLS and PALS required
