Job Description

1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Oversee aseptic technique of technicians while in clean room
Working knowledge of USP 797
Review all compounds for completeness while in clean room
Check all compounds being made by technicians while in clean room
Final Check of Sales order for completeness of supplies needed and drug to support ordered therapy
Review of final iv therapy orders for quality and safety check for first fill





2.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
To be trained on Epic and Brightree as needed for this position



3.Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Iv experience preferred but not necessary
At least one to two rotations in a hospital setting if recent graduate


4.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
Licensed pharmacist in State of Illinois in good standing


5.Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
Shifts will be Monday- Friday
Earliest expected arrival 7am latest expected arrival 9: 30am. Pharmacy closes at 6pm.



8.Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. Average 200 patients on active Iv service



9.Dress Code: business dress or if in clean room scrubs required



10.Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
Training will be completed for job specific duties while here on site
