Job Description

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at Correctional Institution in Troy, North Carolina . This is a registry position with our company.

36hrs Travel Package
Weekly Gross Pay = $540
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $15
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1001 (Hotel-616 Meals-385)

Total Weekly ($1001 is not taxed)= $1541
Feels like per hour = $42.81
$1541 div 36 hours = $42.81

48HRS TRAVEL PACKAGE
Local Hourly Pay $15
X1.5 22.5
Hourly Overtime Pay 22.5
x12 hrs OT =48hrs 270
Total Overtime $ 1, 811.00

Shift Details:

  • 36/48 Every other weekend
  • 12 hrs
  • Days

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Provide companionship and basic care to patients
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients


Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • A valid and current LPN license issued by the state of North Carolina.
  • A valid and current BLS provider card (American Heart Association).
  • Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. LPN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
  • Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away
